Minds Alive

"Minds Alive" highlights the accomplishments of students in the College. "Minds Alive" includes video clips of student work and interviews with featured students. Current features are on Charles Alamo, a political science student who won a highly competitive public policy fellowship and was recently drafted to play for the LA Galaxy; Juliet Beni, a 16-year student in Psychology who is working with Prof. Robin DiMatteo on health psychology research; Brian L. Tan (BLT), who produced and directed the Hollywood-quality short action-thriller "Incrimination"; and Samantha Wilson, who attended the Clinton Global Institute University and will be working this summer on micro-finance projects in India. Upcoming features will highlight the work of April Murray, a recent AGSM graduate and UCR softball standout; Daniel Polk, another Clinton Global Institute University alum who will be starting graduate school next year at Princeton University; and Jason Song, who has studied ways to develop a high-tech corridor in the Inland Empire. "Minds Alive" recognizes students who are taking chances and achieving at a high level. It is intended to help current and prospective students see what is possible for them at UCR.
