You never stop learning, even when you are a teacher. That is the theory behind the CHASS Mentoring Program, which pairs junior faculty members with their senior peers. They meet regularly and senior mentors provide experience intended to help their younger counterparts acclimate to the university.

The Patricia McSweeny McCauley Chair in Teaching Excellence
The Patricia McSweeny McCauley Chair in Teaching Excellence encourages research on and excellence in teaching in the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. The chair holder receives a $5,000 stipend and gives an annual lecture on aspects of teaching as well as a seminar for undergraduates.

CHASS College Computing (C3) works in concert with UCR’s Computing and Communications to provide the best technological resources possible. Under the guidance of Chief Technology Officer James Lin, C3 serves all aspects of instructional, research and administrative technologies within the college.
The CHASS Intranet features access all the administrative and instructional applications, including Student Advising Schedule, e-Calendaring, Faculty Office Hours Appointment System and Webmail.
