Dear UCR Students and Faculty:

This is a reminder that the Office of Instructional Development currently has a call out for submission of proposals for Fall 2005 minigrants.  The Committee on Instructional Development annually commits a significant portion of Undergraduate Instructional Improvement funds to support four categories of awards: 1) Faculty Minigrants, 2) Student Minigrants, 3) Senior Student Research, 4) Major Instructional Improvement Projects.  Please visit our website, www.oid.ucr.edu for details on minigrant guidelines and deadlines.

Below is a brief summary of the available minigrants and deadlines for receipt of applications in each award category. In submitting applications, please adhere to indicated deadlines since late applications will not be considered. 

FALL 2005 MINIGRANT DEADLINES

Faculty & Student Minigrants:   (Award Maximum: $400, $200 for honoraria)
FALL          FRIDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2005

Senior Student Grants:   (Award Maximum:$700) Applications due by FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2005 for Winter/Spring 2006 Awards

Available for Projects of two-quarter duration
