Two Graduates from UC Riverside Are Part of the 2017-2018 Class of Capital Fellows

Two of our graduates from UC Riverside were selected last spring to be part of the 2017-2018 class of Capital Fellows.

  • Edward Franco is now a fellow in the Assembly Fellowship Program (Political Science major)
  • Trelynd Bowles is now a fellow in the Executive Fellowship Program (Political Science major)

The Capital Fellows Programs are administered by the Center for California Studies at California State University, Sacramento, and are an outstanding opportunity for college graduates to engage in public service and prepare for future careers. Fellows work 10-11 months as full-time staff members in the California State Assembly, California State Senate, California Executive Branch or the California Judiciary, and they participate in policy-making, program development, and program implementation.

The upcoming deadline for the 2018-2019 fellowship year is February 12, 2018 and applications and information can be found online at www.csus.edu/calst/programs.
