UCR Orchestra Family Concert:
Shakespeare's The Tempest
Conducted by Ruth Charloff, with guest artist Johanna McKay, actor/storyteller
UCR Department of Music is pleased to present a free concert for families, performed by the UCR Orchestra and storyteller/actor Johanna McKay. The magic of Shakespeare's The Tempest comes alive in a vivid retelling for a family audience, with Jean Sibelius's marvelous 1925 orchestral music composed especially to illustrate the Tempest characters and story. The concert will be performed in the 500-seat University Theatre on the UCR campus.
