Who Gives to UCR?

The people who give to the University of California, Riverside and the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences are people just like you who are choosing to make a difference in the lives of young people.  They include:

  • Alumni looking to give back to the university
  • Parents of current or former students who have seen the importance of a college education
  • Staff, faculty, friends and neighbors who believe in the College's vision for education
  • Corporations and foundations who want to make a difference in the lives of young people

We ask you to become a strategic partner in our educational mission and help our graduates to compete in the world.

About the University

The University of California, Riverside has been the door to opportunity for thousands of students since 1954. UCR is now recognized as the most diverse university of national prominence in the United States, and CHASS is the largest and most diverse college at UCR. CHASS graduates are among the top in their fields nationally and internationally. These are accomplishments of which all alumni and supporters of UCR can be very proud.

To ensure that the College is able to continue to provide this opportunity into the future, we have established a list of fundraising priorities. These are:

  • Endowed chairs, which allow the College to attract, retain and honor distinguished academic leaders.
  • Scholarships, which fund education for undergraduate students
  • Research Centers, where our faculty grapple with issues that confront our world.

Want to talk to a human being? We are here for you.
