Due to popular demand, the Gluck Fellows Program of the Arts, in conjunction with the Riverside Public Library, is offering an encore presentation of the innovative poetry workshop series OPENING THE DOOR TO POETRY: THE ARCHITECTURE OF POETRY. This encore presentation has been extended to a two-part workshop, which will take place on Saturday, January 15 and January 22, 2005 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Riverside Public Library in downtown Riverside. This workshop series, led by Gluck Undergraduate Creative Writing Fellows Janine Joseph and Lucille Legaspi, will explore the components of poetry as they relate to the architecture of Japanese homes. OPENING THE DOOR TO POETRY: THE ARCHITECTURE OF POETRY is designed for anyone who has ever wondered how the various elements of poetry are constructed. Participants will use a variety of exercises to learn how to build their own poems. Writers of all levels are invited to participate in this two-part workshop series.
Space is limited to 30 people. If you wish to participate in this two-part workshop series, please call (951) 827-3518 to sign up today.
