Please join us for a series of live webinars to welcome you to the CHASS family and set yourself up for success at UC Riverside!

Welcome: All Admitted CHASS Students
During the welcome session, we will introduce our Summer Engagement Series and talk about what to expect for the remainder of the summer, including what happens at Highlander Orientation. Students, guests, and family are all welcome.
Advising 1: Admitted CHASS Students (First-Years)
You will hear from undergraduate academic advisors, peer academic advisors, and current students about what you need to know for Highlander Orientation and as you transition to CHASS in the Fall. The session will be focused on first- year students but all admitted CHASS students, and their guests are invited to this YouTube Live Session.
ASP/HESA: Black Scholars
Attendees will learn about the history of African Student Programs at UCR, the first professionally staffed Black student resource center in the UC System, as well as information on how scholars can access the several resources and programs ASP offers. The session will also provide scholars with the opportunity to meet the ASP professional staff, CHASS Academic and Peer Advisors, as well as the opportunity to voice any questions, comments, and/or concerns.
CSP: Chicano/Latino Students
Students and their families will be welcomed to the UCR familia! Come learn about the history of Chicano Student Programs at UCR, the services that CSP provides, as well as information on how students can access the comunidad at UCR. The session will be bilingual and provide students with the opportunity to meet the CSP professional staff, CHASS Academic and Peer Advisors, and get questions answered.
Caregiver Session: All Admitted CHASS Students
Call all caregivers of incoming CHASS students - we're here to help you navigate your student's transition to UC Riverside. During this installment of the Summer Engagement Series, we will provide you with some important information regarding your student's educational journey - including Financial Aid, Housing, important academic updates, and tips on how you can support your student.
Advising 2: All Admitted CHASS Students (Transfers)
A repeat of Session 2 that's focused on our incoming transfer students. Come hear from our academic advising team, peer academic advisors, and current students about your upcoming transition to UCR. All admitted CHASS students, and their guests are invited to this YouTube Live Session, however, the session will be focused on transfer students.
What's Next: Admitted CHASS Students
We welcome all of our new CHASS community to the final session of our Summer Engagement Series focused on joining UCR in the Fall. During this session we will focus on the next steps of your transition and give some important tips and tricks to make UCR your new home.
