The CHASS college overview brochure has won a bronze award in design from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). Printed in summer 2019, the 30-page brochure showcases CHASS people, departments, majors, rankings and support services. It also features photos of current CHASS students, staff, distinguished faculty and notable alumni.

The award was presented at a luncheon on Friday, March 6, in San Francisco.

The brochure was a three-month collaboration between creative teams in UCR's University Communications and CHASS Marketing & Communications. It also included input from more than 25 CHASS departments and stakeholders.

On its website, CASE is described as "a global association for professionals in advancement — alumni relations, communications, development, marketing, and advancement services — who share the goal of championing education to transform lives and society."

"We received 543 submissions this year, and your excellent work stood out among the best," said Jennifer Mora, CASE Awards co-chair, in an email. "One of our objectives is to showcase best practices among our colleagues, and your efforts will be recognized as an example for others to emulate. Thank you for producing the kind of work that brings respect and best practices to our profession."
