Dear Colleagues:

I am writing to let you know that I have been selected to be the next president of SUNY Purchase College.  Purchase College like UCR is a tremendous institution with committed colleagues like you in our student’s success.  I have been truly fortunate to be at UCR and to have so many of you to collaborate with you on the many things we worked on together.  While I will be leaving UCR, I will always have the memories of my time at UCR and the many colleagues who make UCR the great institution it is.

I will be leaving campus in August and I know there is much uncertainty ahead of us, but I know the College is in good hands and that you can count on each other as you have before in facing the challenges.  I will be working with the College office on a transition and we will work with the chairs, and program directors to continue our work as we address the challenges this pandemic has thrown at us. 

I do hope to see you in person before I leave to thank you all personally for all your support and all you do that makes CHASS and UCR a great place to be.
