Social Science Research Council (SSRC)

The Social Science Research Council (SSRC) is a critical incubator of social science research and an important hub for national and international networking and cooperation. It brings together researchers and research funders, including public and private funders, to enhance the infrastructure of social science research, catalyze interdisciplinary and cross-institutional collaborations, and help to launch the careers of junior scholars through fellowships, workshops, and mentorship.

American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS)

The American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) is the preeminent representative of American scholarship in the humanities and related social sciences. It supports the creation and circulation of knowledge that advances understanding of humanity and human endeavors and provides resources that allow scholars to pursue important research, focus on writing, and work as part of publicly-engaged initiatives. In 2021-22, more than $28 million in ACLS fellowships and grants were awarded to more than 400 scholars.
